So... you found a VHS cassette, congratulations! Find the original review of this cassette, and leave your own review in the comments section (try to follow the posting format below, it's only a guideline so you don't have to try too hard) then pass on the cassette. The general idea is to leave your VHS in a public place, where a random person may find it, view it, and hopefully review it. (Don't forget to put on a sticker and/or write the blog address on the label) Stuff that has never been released on DVD or hard to find on DVD is extra awesome. You could of course pass it on to a friend, or even keep it, but that does take some of the fun out of it. If you want to start disseminating your own VHS's among the populous to be reviewed and tracked, shoot one of the admin an email and we'll get you started. As a tip, you can write and post a review, and then ad the time and place left later.
Suggested Format:
Movie Name
Date and Location Found (the post itself will be dated, so if you can remember when you got it throw that in... for science!)
Your Own Review There are plenty of movie reviews on IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, etc. so write your own review, it could be less about the movie, and more about the actual cassette, or the location that you found it, or whatever.
Where and When You Left it Again... for science, it will be interesting to see if a cassette left on a train surfaces two days later on a bus. The general idea behind this is for the cassettes to randomly wander about, but giving it to a friend who might enjoy it is thoughtful as well. No rules against keeping the VHS that you find, but if your VHS was particularly amazing, or particularly terrible, then it ought to be shared!
